After receive customer’s PCB purchasing order, our engineers start to inspect carefully customer’s design files (usually Gerber files), then prepare ENGINEERING QUESTION & WORK FILES to customer, which is an important guarantee to fabricate right product.
Since it is so, what is to be confirmed in ENGINEERING QUESTION?
They can be divided into 4 main kinds of ENGINEERING QUESTION.
Firstly, if there is any inconsistency in the files or design customer offers, we need customer’s help to confirm use which one.
Secondly, if there is something wrong with the design itself, we need to point out the issue and give customer suggestion. If customer accept the suggestion or have other reasonable suggestion, then we arrange production.
Thirdly, if customer’s design is beyond process ability, we will offer customer our adjustment plan to confirm if they can accept, or whether they have other solutions.
Fourthly, if we want to add something that are no impact on functionality but useful during production process, we will provide customer suggestions for confirmation. Such as add fiducial mark, location holes, stamp holes etc.
As per WORK FILES, it is consistent with customer’s design files. Any modifications of WORK FILES are agreed by customer.
