Steel stiffener

Steel stiffener is sometimes used for reinforcement to increase the structural strength and stability of printed circuit board (PCB).

To prevent short circuits or signal interference, the electrical isolation between the steel plates and the circuit board must be guaranteed. To avoid stress-related issues caused by temperature variations, the matching coefficient of thermal expansion between the steel plates and the circuit board material should be considered.
